Our aim is for all pages within the domain www.shaping-futures.org.uk to comply with A and AA guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
We use and validate against html 5, whilst using structured semantic markup, with CSS 2.1 and CSS 3 for page design.
Where Javascript, jQuery or CSS is used to present information, we strive to provide fallbacks.
Text can be increased or decreased from your browser tool bar, or on Windows, if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can hold down CONTROL and scroll the wheel backwards or forwards to alter the text size. You can also hold CONTROL and press on the plus or minus buttons (next to the number 0 on most keyboards).
Within these pages there are links to external sites that are not part of the www.shaping-futures.org.uk domain. Shaping Futures cannot guarantee the level of compliance of these external pages.
The Shaping Futures website also makes use of embedded content. Accessibility of the embedded content is sometimes out of our control especially, for example, when embedding third party content such as YouTube videos.

Opera, a web browser with enhanced accessibility-related features which include text zooming, and the use of customised user stylesheets. Windows, Macintosh, Linux, versions available.
